  • Ryan

Ryan was our Foster Child a few year back. (He was Native American) We loved him a lot.

    Here's a poem I wrote about him.

    Quiet and full of Love
    A gift from above

    Smiles and full of fun
    A Treasure from the Son

You came to us during our Spiritual Night
You came to us and gave us new sight.

We'll miss you very much, Ryan
Dry eyes we'll not have in our crying

We'll pray you stay with the Father's touch
For we love you very much

    The message you must give
    So your people may live

The cross you wore with gladness
Memories of which will bring us sadness

Until we see you another day
As we follow the Father's way

  • New Gadgets

I like gadgets.  One day I'm going to have GPS and be able to track where all my kids are.  (They'll all probally be out of the house by then.)  A new gadget just came out.  It's a life sized head and shoulder of Elvis.  It costs $349.00 and comes with a remote (remote is shaped like a microphone.)  Elvis talks and sings 8 different songs.  I don't think I'll get this one.   Can you see I really don't have anything to do today?

  • Whoops

    Today's Cartoon
I went into my xanga subscriptions.  I had the intention of deleting some.  I ended up adding more.

What changes would  you like to make in your life?

  • License Plate  - I'm Speeding -   Funny
If I ever would get a personalized license plate it would probally be Tramp 1.  (My last name is Tramp.)

What your your personalised license plate say?

  • I feel like I know some of you much better.  Reading the entries concerning personalities was like going into a candy store and seeing all the varieties.  It's all good.  I like Gary Chapman's book - The five love languages. Physical Touch, Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Gifts, & Acts of Service.  Gary says that everyone interprets love in one of these 5 ways.  I know my love language is quality time.  I'm not a huggy, compliment giving, give me something or do something for me type of person.  Give me your undivided attention and I'll interpret you love me - type of person.  My wife on the other hand is a Acts of Service personality.  If I do things for her she knows I love her.

    What love language fits you?

  • I loved all the memories that everyone posted.  I love to reflect.  I have a Psalms 39 personality.  It's one that is silent while the words burn inside, wanting out, then the words burst out in a lot of emotion.  Others, have a outspoken personality.  They speak whatever is on their mind.

    What's your personality?

  • I was visiting Kham's xanga site and noticed her favorite food was papaya salad.  That brought back memories of when I was in the Philippines.  I went to Manilla with a friend to a small cafe.  I'll never forget the papaya salad.  We then went to his home town on a bus.  (That was an experience.) When we arrived there he knocked a coconut off a tree and we had coconut.  I watched the caribou working in the rice fields behind his house.  Wonderful memories.

What memories do you have that involved traveling?

  • Ashley is 9 years old that has severe brain damage. She will be in an infant state all of her life.  Her parents have had her growth stunded to keep her small and manageable.  This will insure that Ashley will be able to stay with them the rest of her life.

Do these parents have the right to make this decision for their daughter?

  • We had a late night prayer service last night. - Four hours in the presence of God.  It was so wonderful.  I woke up this morning so alive, so free.  I feel now that I can do the things He's required of me for this next year.
