Ever felt lonely in the midst of many people?  If so why do think that is?

  • Because we’re sometimes too absorbed in our own world to take much notice of others.

  • To involved in self to look up and look around!

  • First thought that popped into my mind was: ‘No man is an island.”  Have no idea if that has any relation to your question or not, but thought I’d write it down anyway.  “Ever felt lonely in the midst of many people?”  Yes, but mainly only when I’m with my husband and visiting his people. He’s from India and the women all gather  at one table and talk in Hindi. It’s as though they don’t even see me. I do not sit with them. If I did, I’d be hollering to talk in English. They know how to since most of them work–but, they’re just ignorant in family matters. They’ve done this for 33 years now, so I don’t think they’ll ever change.

  • Because we’re different.

  • cute cartoon :)

i get anxiety in big crowds so i try to avoid them

  • Yes. And it’s because I have so much going on internally that I don’t share with people… There is only one other person on earth who knows me, the real me, and if not for her, I would have given up years ago. There are a few others who know me really well, and I can turn to them when help must be had, but mostly, I deal with “me” alone.

  • I never know who to tell

I’m afraid that they will think I’m whineing

  • if we are honest with our feelings were are never lonely

  • I never feel lonly at my parents home or at work. Those are good places to be.

  • Honestly at times, I do feel lonely with a crowd of people.
It depends on where I am and who I am with.
I think it is how we relate to one another.

If I cannot find someone to talk to in a crowd, than I cannot relate.
I have found at times some people I try to talk to… there is little conversation.

Beside if we cannot relate: How can we communicate?

    Have A GOOD Week!
    Blessings,
    “Susie”  :0)

    RYC: Thanks!
I wish dying (to our flesh) does not hurt so bad also.
Taking up the cross and dying to self.
To Live Is Christ: To Die Is Gain!
    Amen.

  • How did you help take away the stress?

  • Yeah… that is a little crazy… I’m not sure I have. Sometimes I want to be though.
