These lost their lives by the Omaha Shooter. The shooters suicide note said that he wanted to be a famous. I think the news media should not post any suicide shooters pictures and take away their notoriety status.
May the Lord grant peace and comfort to the families of these who lost their lives.
One of these young ladies was a childhood friend of Pandamills (a longtime xanga friend). She is having a hard time with this senseless death right now. The media makes these guys infamous and glorifies things unholy. I sick of it. Yet scandal sheets like Star and Enquirer fly off the shelves in every supermarket in America. So who are the ones to blame?
I meant “I”M sick of it.
I think their pictures SHOULD be posted, but not with ANY sympathetic captions like “He wanted to be famous” underneath, which make this generation of Oprah-ized women feel SORRY for him. The captions should say something like “MURDERER, CREATOR OF WIDOWS AND WIDOWERS AND ORPHANS”.
I agree.
I agree with you, AND with all the other comments on here. He deserves nothing, ESPECIALLY not for us to feel sorry for him! <3Ashley
This is sooo sad. You hear about this tragedy and see the faces of the ones that died in a senseless act rips my heart apart.
I agree. There are copy cats out there that may just do the same thing and want the fame!! What a shame. This reminds me of the DC sniper… remember that? Right about this time of year too. Kind of scary!!
My prayers are with their family and friends.
It seems that it would be better to not hype up the killer as much, making her/him more known than the victims
what beautiful people and what a crazy thing to happen for no reason. God be with the families.
I agree! Pay respect to the victims, yes, but leave all the mumbo jumbo out about the disturbed person who took their lives.
I did not get to see the shooter’s pictures. Instead, I’m glad that I got to see the victims’ photos first.
I agree. Let them be anonymous. Unfortunately, the shooter likely is in Hell right now reaping the rewards of his poor choices in life. Sad indeed that someone could not have gotten to this kid.
i couldn’t agree more. it is the faces of the victims we should remember and the families that have to live with their grief we should reach out to and pray for.
I agree. I wonder if the shooter is famous where he is now ??
i totally agree! why does the media feel compelled to tell us every detail of these kind of things? while my heart goes out to the families of these folks… i think splashing it all over the tv makes it far worse.
I agree that every thing the shooter said or did should not be heralded as news by the media. People still copy this sort of thing, but we shouldn’t have to see and/or hear him on the news all of the time.
