Christmas Quotes
Larry Libby, Christmas Stories for the Heart
Late on a sleepy, star-spangled night, those angels peeled back the sky just like you would tear open a sparkling Christmas present. Then, with light and joy pouring out of Heaven like water through a broken dam, they began to shout and sing the message that baby Jesus had been born. The world had a Savior! The angels called it “Good News,” and it was.
Max Lucado, God Came Near
Were it not for the shepherds, there would have been no reception. And were it not for a group of stargazers, there would have been no gifts.
Erma Bombeck
There’s nothing sadder in this world than to awake Christmas morning and not be a child.
Bernard Manning
I once bought my kids a set of batteries for Christmas with a note on it saying, toys not included.
Bing Crosby
Unless we make Christmas an occasion to share our blessings, all the snow in Alaska won’t make it ‘white’.
Margaret Thatcher
Christmas is a day of meaning and traditions, a special day spent in the warm circle of family and friends.
Calvin Coolidge
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind.

I like these.
Christmas is not a time or a season but a state of mind. To cherish peace and good will, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas. If we think on these things, there will be born in us a Savior and over us will shine a star sending its gleam of hope to the world. CALVIN COOLIDGE, Presidential message, Dec. 25, 1927

I was at Target today and passed by the toy section. I felt a little sad that I do not have any children to buy for anymore.
i especially like the one from larry libby….reminded me of what it might be like on His return with the angels peeling back the sky and all…instead of singing, the sound of the trumpet blares through the sky…oh what a wonderful day that will be.
