I asked the kids on Wednesday night if they knew what a warthog was. Many did not. I then asked them if they knew “Bumba”. All of them knew Bumba. We stayed one place that had a lot of warthogs and baboons.

We did Kid’s Church one Sunday while we were in Nigeria. This is only a small portion of the kids and Children’s Workers that attended.

A funny thought came to my head: Baboon Crossing. Here in Ohio, the main thing we have to worry about is deer. I can’t imagine having to keep a watch-out for baboons, especially when they are prone to sitting on hoods!
Oh, the things one finds funny on a bad night’s sleep!
That looks like a great group of kids.
LOL at the baboon! I can’t imagine having animals like that just wandering around…
Whenever I think of warthogs, I think of Pumbaa from The Lion King. He was adorable. Ha. And the baboon looks mischievous.
One Pumba coming up! Kinda cute warthog, huh! It does sound like you had a great time in Nigeria!
Do you know Crossing_Cultures?
they look nice -the warthogs I like the photo of the monkey on the suv
we have wild boars and hogs which are similar to those warthogs, which roam freely in my neighborhood! (I was chased by one years ago!) *shrieks* LOL great pics!!!
I’m pretty sure you meant Pumbaa . . . as in Timon and Pumbaa.
Yeah. I was charged by a 3 1/2′ tall, 5′ long wild boar on the St. Johns River. Not fun. Fortunately, he missed me.
And I work with baboons. ;o)
haha! warthogs and baboons. that’s kinda cool.
What interesting animals in Africa. Warthogs and Baboons…
Hope that you were not driven away because they were there.
I would have been in the car with the doors locked. Especially when I saw that Baboon.
That is a good number of kids that came to Church. I notice the Africans were bright colors.
You must to have had fun being apart of Kids Church on that Sunday.
Thanks for sharing. Blessings to you.
Have A GOOD Weedend! :0)

Babboons!
I’m sure you were fascinating to those kids!

Wow, you took some really cool photos, pastor Randy! I want to go to Africa now!
Those warthogs are sure ugly little critters… but entertaining.
The photo are great.
I wonder if warthogs and razorbacks would make good friends.
@godzdaughter81 - Africa was life changing. I’d go back if I could.
Bumba works for me too, lol! but actually, I think I remember hearing of a warthog before..off of some wildlife/animal planet channel on tv.
