What is a conservative to you? Are you a conservative?

the Amish or Menonites are what we call conservative around here so compared to them I’m not.
To me, a conservatist is someone who follows the straight and narrow path and not the wide road of public opinion. They use God’s rules as their own rules and think about something instead of jumping right into the middle of an issue with both feet. Yes, I am a conservatist.
i’m in the middle. depend on the topic such marriage or rising kids..things like that.
Conservative is a political term. I stay away from those. Anyone can be a conservative but only people with brains are Christians.
I guess I have tendencies both ways, agree with things on both sides of the spectrum. In this world, nothing will be completely perfect, and I don’t think it’s necessarily wise to take sides.

I grew up in conservative C of Christ. I consider a lot of my viewpoints conservative, but have been accused of being non conservative by other C of Christ people. I think maybe I have learned to find joy in worshipping the Lord. I have also learned the freedom of worshipping with hands held high and reaching up to my Father. Some of my brothers and sisters have not learned this joy yet. So while I do not compromise in areas of faith and obedience, I am considered non-conservative. Go figure.
