The people of God had embraced the world, trusting in kings and armies, money and power, and experts. But Isaiah warned that all these were nothing but “props,” and God was taking away “every kind of prop.” He wanted them to trust in Him and Him alone.
They still were under the illusion that they could trust in judges and counselors, captains and craftsmen, mighty men and generals, but God warned that none of these people had His wisdom and understanding: “I will make boys their princes, and with childishness” (v. 4). The New American Bible graphically says, “I will make straplings their princes; the fickle shall govern them.”
Because God’s people weren’t putting their full trust in Him, He wanted them to know they would be ruled foolishly by their leaders. They had hoped they could count on mere men to solve their problems, unaware that they would suffer the consequences of not trusting in God.
People throughout the world still often make the same kinds of mistakes by elevating men and women in the place of God. They expect mere flesh and blood to rule with the insight and wisdom that can come only from Him.
The world urgently needs men and women who do not depend on their flawed human nature, but on God Himself. We need those who are filled with His Spirit…who are bold and fearless…who have His compassion and love…and who seek His direction and guidance for government and business, ministry and finances, families and marriages.
Today, seek God first in everything you do. Trust in Him. Make Him the strength of your life.

RYC- I see it NOW!!! Sorry!!!! (Hahaha, I didn’t have my COFFEE before, Hahaha!!!)
@clintspirations - LOL
Great post!
Have you ever heard of Kim Clements? Apparently he is a famous Prophet. I had never heard of him, but God lead me to his sight, and his prophecies have given me hope and Faith that God is in control, more than ever.
This post reminded me of alot of the same things he had to say. As well as your post below. Which really confirmed things for me.

I just read through your last 4 posts, and I must say that I am so glad that our God is in control of all things, and in Him I have peace no matter what happens. Truly, the joy of the Lord is my strength.
Good post Randy….we must put our faith in the Lord, not the world or man!
Amen!!!! Good post.
@clintspirations - LOL ~ you musta really needed that coffee…
@Neeka1 - Hahaha, I sure DID!!!!
Randy, this is an EXCELLENT post. Seriously!!!!
Great reminder of who is really in control.
@lifeliveit - I don’t agree with Kim Clements. There have been too many Christian Leaders that have said Obama is chosen by God. How can any leader be chosen by God that murders babies?
@Randy7777 - Who is to say God can’t change his heart? Paul started off as a murderer and look what a change of heart did for him. God can do wonderous things! We all fall short in one way or another, but through God and the cleansing blood of his Son all things are possible!
I have a feeling God is saying we were putting our faith in the fact that he would choose the man we picked. Instead he is going to prove how powerful he is by changing the man we didn’t want.
