  • Role Model

From the book:  Transforming Children into Spiritual Champions

    Interesting find:
Young people admit to being highly influenced by their role models and to be actively seeking more such examples, but nearly half(44%)admit that they don’t have any role models.  While parents are the most commonly named role models, it is revealing that when children are asked to identify the 3 most important people in the world to them, only one-third name their mother or father.  Even so, the vast majority of young kids- more than 9 out of 10 – say they get along well with their parents, and most have no desire to have their parents eliminated from their lives.

Action Point:  Let’s be the role model that our children will want to emulate.
