From the book: Transforming Children into Spiritual Champions

Interesting find:
Young people admit to being highly influenced by their role models and to be actively seeking more such examples, but nearly half(44%)admit that they don’t have any role models. While parents are the most commonly named role models, it is revealing that when children are asked to identify the 3 most important people in the world to them, only one-third name their mother or father. Even so, the vast majority of young kids- more than 9 out of 10 – say they get along well with their parents, and most have no desire to have their parents eliminated from their lives.
Action Point: Let’s be the role model that our children will want to emulate.

It is sad that some of the people influencing our children and grandchildren are so amoral. We will stand before God someday and give an accounting for that and so much more.
Are you a grandpa yet?
This is an important task! I think our teenagers need to be encouraged in this too. Kids do watch them!
I think that is why grandparents are so important
@jillcarmel - You’re so right about Grandparents.
