Praying for Israel
I updated my status to “Praying for Israel” and got an angry response. I chatted with the guy trying to find common ground and soon found the “anger” gyser. Even though terrorist have bombed Israel first, much of the Arab world doesn’t see it like that. In the eyes of much of the world Israel can’t win no matter what decision is made. I pray America stays Israel’s friend.

I’m praying for Israel, too…..but don’t count on America staying Israel’s friend after January 20th……
amen…praying for Israel.
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
Genesis 12:2-4
…..of course, I’d be happy to be WRONG about my fears expressed earlier!!!
Happy Epiphany today
I pray that the US policy doesn’t change with a new administration….amazing to me that groups and countries who’s public aim is the destruction of Israel and who instigate aggression are outraged when Israel fights back!!
@clintspirations - I hear you. I’m concerned about January 20th.
I guess we all have to live in each others shoes.
look at Ireland- I’m Irish , Grandma Mary Troy’s; since she hated the north it’s hard for me to look at them differently since her family lost family members then that is also my family.
@jillcarmel - You’ll have to explain Epiphany to me.
@Kowpatty - Yes, I pray Amercia stays with Israel and be blessed.
@xThexGodfatherx - We live in a very dark world.
you will have to come to my site-I explained it there and some of the others filled in the gaps.
hi, terrorists bombing israel first is an interesting viewpoint. the fact that israel has got an embargo on the gaza strip for the last 18 months makes israel good guys? in the last 18 months, they, the israelis, have denied medical supplies, food and fuel to the palestinians. this has led to palastines secret tunnels for smuggling, not only the items i have listed above but also, regrettebly, weapons. i do not condone hamas using weapons against israel but, i also find it hard to think that israel is entirely innocent in this scenario. the rules there should be the same for both parties, no embargo’s and also no rocket attacks from hamas’s side. yes, the underground supply of weapons from egypt must end, only then can there be a constructive dialogue and can steps be made towards peace. i hope you will notice that i have referred here to israel and not the jews. the reason i point this out is that someone in xanga chose to name me an anti-semite which, on the basis that i lived with an israeli family for 6 months i found rather hurtful. tc
I’m praying for Israel.
A group from my church will be there next Tuesday.
10 day journey in the Holy Land.
Happy New Year!
