Is Mike Fincke that former Microsoft executive who paid $35 million for his ride? I can only imagine how many could have been helped right here on earth in the name of God, and for His glory.
@bronze_for_gold - No Mike is the real McCoy. He was the commander of the ISS. There is so much medical advances because of the International Space Station. I tend to think it’s a positive adventure we’re doing. Besides that I don’t think our government needs any more money helping people.
that is very interesting -thanks for sharing with me. Now I want one of those furry chairs lol kidding
I beat they are just glad to be alive and didn’t mind that little thing as long as it got them home. They lose strength and can’t walk from the weightlessness I hear.
Zury looks about my age. Old. hey, you rarely hear about Kazakstan do you?
I see now the name of the Microsoft exec is Charles Simonyi and it’s his second trip. Wow… to have that kind of money to burn. I agree that the ISS is a positive venture, but wow. That’s all I can say about having $35 million and then spending it on oneself. I doubt he would have just donated it to the venture without being a participant. But that’s just me…. wanting desperately to help those less fortunate, but without the money to do much. I am thankful the Lord looks on the heart, not the amount of what we give in His name.
@bronze_for_gold - So True – You have such a heart to give – may God bless you to fullfill your hearts desire.
