Bickering
I guess the President considers Health Care debate as bickering and over. I think it’s just begun and his words will ignite a new round of debate.
Do you think that people should stop debating the Health Care issue because Obama says to?

i tend to agree with the president and just want to do something and it’s not right we can always change it.
@Jillycarmel - What the President says and what the President does are two different things. I don’t believe him. FDR wasn’t right and we still haven’t changed all the mistakes that were made after the depression. I tend to see America like a huge aircraft carrier. It takes a huge amount of ocean to turn it.
yes, but all talk and no action isn’t good either.
No way. He aint the boss of me!
Absolutely not. I listened to his LOOOOG speech last night and I’m more convinced that ever people need to speak up and debate (not that that’s a new belief for me) I don’t believe a word he says.
The GOP agrees that something needs to be done and has presented solutions (i.e. actions). The solutions are just not what President Obama wants to hear. I do not want to pay taxes for abortions nor do I want the hospital’s death panel to be influenced by what the government says a hospital’s budget should be.
“Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have … The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases.” – Either Thomas Jefferson or Gerald Ford
@juliehuey - Great quote. Limited government is part of the reason this country was founded.
@juliehuey - The GOP presented two admendments that were both shot down by the Democrats. One was to clearly say that abortion will not be in Obama’s health care and the second was concerning health care for the elderly. Obama is lying when he says his health care will not fund abortion and not have death panels.
@stephensmustang - I suspect that will be the response across America. One lady put it best, “Obama you woke the sleeping giant.”
@thankee - I think he ignited a huge firestorm
@Jillycarmel - The republicans have put in admendments and it all gets shot down because the democrates are in control of the house and senate.
For that very reason it should be debated MORE! The day I do something just because Obama says so is the day you know that I’m dead!!!
@stillooking2find - You are so right. Can’t believe anything he says. He’s not having abortions in his healthcare he’s having reproduction options. I call that a deceptive lie and Americans are more intellegent than that.
No, not just b/c he says to stop.
@Randy7777 -
I’m not sure the Americans are more intelligent than that. How did he get elected in the first place? Because of people either who are/were stupid or people who are as radical as he is or people who were hoodwinked by his flowery speech. I have to disagree with you, Randy. Americans are fairly unintelligent when it comes to these things. However, we must continue to be vigilant and I appreciate your post.
