Obama
President Obama, buffeted by criticism of his massive health care reform bill and election setbacks, said today he remained determinded to tackle health care and other big problems despite the political dangers to his presidency.
“I’d rather be a really good one-term president than a mediocre two-term president,”
Do you think Obama and the Democrates should go down the government based health care road even when most Americans think it’s the wrong direction?

I wouldn’t say most Americans think it’s the wrong direction. It’s a little more balanced out (almost 50/50). But, it’s a sure sign that he is sticking to his commitment to reform healthcare and make it more affordable for the citizens who need it.
Absolutely not!!
I think he’s working towards being a really bad one-term president, and doing a good job of it!
I do think Obama and the Democrats should go down.
@clintspirations - I personnally like to see the liberal agenda rejected, which looks like that is happening.
@dropsofjupiterihh - Your opinion is in the minority right now. Most Americans think he’s not doing such a good job. I think our President should take responsiblity and quit blaming Bush. Your thoughts on that?
@laytexduckie - You might not say “most Americans” but the polls do. Even MSNBC who is very pro Obama is turning against him. Obama is so concerned he is proposing to suspend all non security spending – sounds like a desperate President to me & very conservative. Last week the President was talking about spending billions more on another stimulas and this week cutting a lot. So what happened between last week and this week?
@dropsofjupiterihh - ROTFL. I wish I’d have said that!!
I think you misinterpreted my comment. Read it again. I agree with you and most Americans!
@Kowpatty - Thanks!
