This takes me back to my Navy days.  I was on the flight deck watching air-ops.  The plane captain turned the plane into his crew by mistake.  They went flying across the deck, over the side as fast as turning a fan on paper.  Incrediebly the nets caught the airman and all was ok.

A man was seen fleeing down the hall of the hospital just before his operation.

“What’s the matter?” he was asked.

Why do you follow Jesus?

I’m writing an article for our local paper. The title is, “Why follow Jesus?”.  I’d like your help.  Why should people follow Jesus?

It was like any other morning.  I was taking my kids to the Christian School in our church.  I’ll never forget the 4 way stop I was at when I heard about the 1st plane going into the Trade Center.  It wasn’t too much longer when I heard about the second one.  When I got to church there seemed to be many shocked people.  There was a frantic search to hook up a TV. I spent most of that day counseling people that came through the doors.  Many other people just wanted to be in church, in a sanctuary.

Where were you on 9/11? 

I have a lot of great memories of my time in the Navy.  I was on board USS Kitty Hawk for 4 years.  I sent several hours yesterday going down memory lane by getting an status on where all the aircraft carriers are and looking at a lot of Navy pictures.
