Thank you to those that responded about your favorite author.  I learned a little more about writers.  I still love to hear more about your favorite author.
My mind is continually working, when it comes to writing.  I love stories.  Kalli my youngest is going through an imagination stage.  Not only has she investigated Santa Clause but she is amazed at my dragon stories.  I had a baby dragon when I was a boy. It was hatched from an egg.  Kalli tells her teacher the story about my pet dragon and it’s a point of conversation for us. Kalli tells everyone in the house as though it’s a fact.

What story have you told your kids or people around you?

    Today’s Word of the Day

Ostensible [os·ten·si·ble] adj.  1. Intended for display, open to view. 2. Being such in appearance, plausible rather than demonstrably true or real.
I am not an ostensible person, I’m more of a private person.

  • I recently told the story of how we bought a Christmas gift and misplaced it in our home that we just happened to find, just in time! Good pic of your crew!

  • That ole boy on the right looks like a troublemaker.  LOL.  I don’t have a favorite author.  I love Twain and Steinbeck and Lucado and Swindoll, etc.etc.etc.  I use to be a voracious reader.  I plan to become one again during the coming year.  I have a sneaky suspicion there might be a Kindle under the tree.  It is so nice to hear of a modern child with an imagination.  DD and I were talking about that yesterday.

  • LOL about the dragon.  We tell all kinds of stories about when we were kids, when the boys were kids, etc.  I enjoy various authors both Christian and not. One of my fav. Christian authors is Colleen Coble.

  • @ThexGodfather - Good thing it was found – Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  • @Kowpatty - Yes Noah is onry.  He is constantly pestering the older kids.  You tagged him right. – Kindle – I love mine.  It makes reading so much more enjoyable and I can look up words that I don’t know.  I also love the connection to facebook/twitter when I find a passage I want to share.  Merry Christmas

  • I don’t think Noah was in the picture I was referring to.  LOL.  Have a Blessed Christmas.

  • @stephensmustang - I see she is a Christian romantic suspense writer.  I see she has a lot of series.  Which book did you read?  I read some of Lonestar Sanctuary – wow – she is a great writer.  Brings you into the story really fast.  Have a Merry Christmas
