  • Past Time

I enjoy reading authors tweets, facebook and blogs.  I read about their struggles when a manuscript gets sent to the editor, their excitement when the book first comes out in print.  It’s like being in the kitchen while a great chief cooks a meal.  I don’t read many books that I don’t contact the author via email.  I like hearing their thoughts and watching the process.  One of my favorite authors has a book coming out in May and I look for any update on the book.

What is one of your past times?

America is in a acerbic mood.

  • Oh wow Randy, I don’t think I could hang out with you until summertime!
    Stay warm and be blessed~!

  • reading is a fav. pastime of mine.

  • I think you already know about most of mine: reading mysteries, Xanga, FB, singing in choir, playing guitar, entertaining, Celtic festivals. Regarding mysteries, there’s a book by Otto Penzler avail on Amazon. It’s called “The Lineup” and it features authors’ information about their books and detectives. I have intended to get the book sometime this year.  ~~Blessings ‘n Cheers

  • I like to keep up with the latest news online too. I would love to write a book and have it published. Maybe someday.

  • @stephensmustang - What do you like to read?

  • @Randy7777 - Mostly mysteries both secular and Christian…but I just finished reading “Renting Lacy” a true story about the sex slave industry (from sharedhope.org).  It was a difficult read in the reality of it, but a good one in that it gets me passionate again about the subject. Though, truth be told, I really just enjoy reading…period.  How about you?
