Book
I just finished this book:
Cape Refuge series – Southern Storm book 2 by Terri BlackstockThis was a good book. There was suspense as the Chief of Police Matthew Cade came up missing. Even though most of the town believed he just walked away from his position after hitting a pedestrian and killing him. Blair Owens wouldn’t believe that even after evidence showed that most of the town was correct. I enjoyed her character of determination in the midst great opposition. This second book wetted my appetite for the next book. We want light to overcome evil and that’s were the next book is headed. I would give this a good rating as I think the characters at times did become unreal. I was able to see things coming so some of the book was not a surprise. Overall I did enjoy Southern Storm but Terry has done much better in her other books.
I’d love to hear the book your reading now.
I’d also like to hear about any recommendations of books and why.

Good Morning from the Land of Aging, I seldom read and never did unless forced to by teachers and getting my B.A. (not Bad Attitude) I have read some Christian living books in the past, but that is about it.
It is only one of my weaknesses. I am glad to see you enjoy reading–that is a very wonderful thing.

fyi…Debbie enjoys Terri B’s books
I have read that book. I too, liked it, but agree, she’s done some better writing. Currently, I’m reading a mystery by Elizabeth Peters. “Silhouette in Scarlet”
@ThexGodfather - Terry Blackstock is a good author. I like suspenseful book.
@stephensmustang - Is the book good. I read a little about Elizabeth Peters. Sounds like she write about history. That’s interesting.
Well, today I finished reading the Silver Stag by Christine E. Schulze. It is a fantasy book and the final book in the series. Then I read and finished Famous Pennsylvania Hauntings by Lawrence J. Galvak, which is a book about true ghost stories and I thought it was pretty good. Currently I am reading Tunnels of Blood, book 3 in the Cirque Du Freak series by Darren Shan.
@Shining_Garnet - Looks like you read a lot. I enjoy series also.
@Randy7777 - It is a good book thus far–a mystery. They do have a pretty good bit of history and geography info. One series has the character going to various places though she’s based in Germany. Another series is about Egypt (long ago) . Still others are just various books that take place in other countries and some in other times in history. I think you’d like the ones that take place in Egpyt for sure.
