Ronald Reagan
I’ve been enjoying the tributes to President Reagan. I was in the Navy at the time and we were so proud to be Americans. It was a great day when the hostages came home from Iran. I was on board ship when Reagan had his landslide election. I remember his slogan, “Peace through Strength”.
What memories do you have of President Reagan?
People that placate are called peacemakers.

I enjoyed his wit during one of the debates, said he would hold the age of his opponent (younger) against him!
Ronald Reagan is a great president..
I placate my slumlord landlord to be able to get any repairs made on my apt.
I remember Pres. Reagen as a soft spoken, gentle man.
