Why do you Xanga?
Xanga helps me to:
learn about people
write and get feedback
learn many different views
find out what people are thinking
see different parts of the country
see through the eyes of others
get to know people
Why do you xanga?

to make friend and to talk sometime what onther minde ,and tile story
Probably the same reasons. Xanga doesn’t seem to be like other social networking sites. There are decent, genuine people here and it’s good to share thoughts, feelings and emotions on here since you get positive feedback, encouragement and advise.
it’s an outlet for my thought, most of the time
and also for me to observe, and learn, about the thought of others
@dmcx2010 - It’s great meeting new people.
@Margo73 - You are right. I’m on some other sites but xanga has been the best.
I just like to blog!!
@maniacsicko - We all need an outlet for thoughts – it’s a good outlet
I could look at Xanga as my therapist, talk about what’s on my mind, it’s free and I can access it whenever I want! Maybe some celebrities should give it a go. We could prob give better advice!!!
@andreasiscrazy - Before blogging we had to write in a diary -lol
@Randy7777 -
yes I still do, shame on me!! Having said that though xanga is good good in terms of feedback, and I am always interested in what other people think and feel.
@andreasiscrazy - I actually do once in awhile. I like going back and seeing my past entries. I think men call it journaling -lol
@Randy7777 -
LOL there is nothing like a good journal, mine goes way back but one of my friends has kept a journal since he was old enough to write! Makes amazing reading too!!
To help me remember.
@Inciteful - Remember – interesting – I usually use my facebook to remember facts since I blog from my kindle.
@andreasiscrazy - I’d hate to see what I would of written as a teenager -lol Maybe I’d be better understanding towards my teens.
Two primary reasons:
To share my pictures
To get new/different ideas and input
@Randy7777 - Blogging from your Kindle? I’ll have to try that.
To vent, talk about things I have trouble saying in life, to get support, to meet genuinely nice people, to make friends
We all need a place to be and this is mine.
I like to write and connect with others, get feedback and make friends.
I use Xanga as a place to share my poetry and some of my thoughts. A creative and emotional outlet for me.
@C_L_O_G - It is a great place to save pictures – I’ve been scanning a lot of my older pictures and putting em here.
@Inciteful - I love blogging from my kindle. I can highlight a portion and talk about it. I wish kindle had an xanga application but for now it’s tweeter and facebook.
@jennylovve - That’s good. Xanga is good practice for real life.
@tymedancer - So True –
@Shining_Garnet - I’m glad people here on xanga are good at constructive criticism.
@mrsclark11 - I don’t write much poetry but I like reading some – thanks for posting your poetry on xanga
@Randy7777 -
Yes it is. I’ve put some pictures here. II save some on blogger and deviant art too.
@C_L_O_G - Thanks – Have a great day.
All of the above reasons but I began blogging on here to connect with my family. Now I am spreading out my subscriptions in all directions I prefer like minded people that do not need to cuss and use profanity to make a point.
Actually, I had to be talked into starting a blog on Xanga in 2005. I really didn’t want to do it, but I gave in because my friend who had begun blogging kept after me. It has been interesting, and I have made a few good friends, some of whom I’ve been able to meet in person. Xanga is time consuming, though; so I am not able to post as often as many of my subs do. This Sunday eve. I’m playing catch-up again in visiting subs. I think Xanga does some of the same for me as you have listed, so I stick with it. ~~Blessings ‘n Cheers
