  • Change & Credits?

I use to have a sign on a jar that sat on my desk: “If you don’t like change, please leave it here.”  Well I’m not talking about that kind of change here.  I feel this year I personally and at my job have to make some changes.  I personally like to have things in routine and in order.  Summer is ok for me but not my favorite season because of routine gone wacky.  I do want a different outcome, thus my thoughts of why things have to change.  I will make the changes neccessary but I’m not going to like it.  The definition of insanity is: Expecting a different result without changing anything.

How about you, Does change come easy for you? or do you fight change?

I have over 17,000 credits.  What does one do with credits?

  • I like change.  It drove my husband crazy when I changed the furniture arrangement or drawer contents or my hair style etc.  I have so many different colors layered on the wall from changing my girls say the walls would stand alone with no wallboard or plaster.

  • P. S.  Change is the only sure thing in life.  Good luck adapting.  You may be even happier when it comes.

  • I like change and I don’t fight it. I welcome it.

  • @Dominie - My wife also drives me crazy when she wants to change the living room – she does it a lot -lol  (Usually means different furniture)

  • @Dominie - I believe I will

  • @Diva_Jyoti_3 - Some change is easy – other change not so.

  • @Shining_Garnet - You probally get far in life.

  • The older I get the easier it is to accept change.

  • @tymedancer - Really?  I find it more difficult.

  • Would be nice if we could put ALL kinds of change, coin and other, into a jar and just take it out as we wanted it or needed it. Credits are used to give minis. I think you can get a premium membership if you gather enough credits. I give mine away because I already have a lifetime membership that I got years ago for $100. For example, the 100 eProps “costs” me 100 credit which I gladly give to you.

  • Change?  I used to dread it, but now I accept it more easily.

  • @vexations - Well thank you.  One more question:  Is there value in eProps?

  • I have a hard time dealing with change. I’m trying to be more open to change. It can definitely be a good thing.

  • I physically see myself digging in my heels and bracing myself at any change -so I can relax and be open to change.

Then I say,”Lord, if there is anything I’m suppose to do please put it right in front of my face so I’ll know what you want me to do.”

  • @TheCheshireGrins - I have people around me that change for change sake.  -drives me crazy -lol

  • @Babyboomerjill - I’ve found that most people are like Air Craft Carriers.  It takes awhile to change destination.  I guess I don’t have much of a problem with the things in front of me.  It’s the things that change my destination that I have trouble with, expecially if I like the direction I’m going -lol

  • Randy the only constant is change!!!! Hang in there you will be fine!

  • I believe most people tend to resist change, but obviously considering comments of those here, there are those who don’t and who welcome it. So, I believe it depends on the nature or circumstances of the change. I have a friend who gets upset if anything in his surrounding environment is changed. I have accused him of having “cat personality”. (I have read that cats do not like anything in their environment to be changed or disrupted.) I like the idea of praying about “to change or not to change” and asking God for directions. (re: Babyboomerjil’s comment). BTW: I do put some of my change aside in a jar or some container. As to credits, they are deducted for mini’s and also for other Xanga “perks” that may be advertised at times. I’ll also use my credits to give you a “mini”.  ~~Blessings ‘n Cheers

  • for me, i feel like it’s gonna happen anyway whether i like it or not

  • I like change, thrive on it and strive for it. I hate being stagnant

  • Something has to change! I prefer to call it a “slow flux.”
