Ominous
I went down to the river today and it’s running faster than normal but it’s in the banks. As I went there I drove past a major effort of sandbagging, just a block from our house. I have watched several dump trucks loaded with dirt go down the road and back again empty. Sections of Yankton have been evacuated. The Lawyer that helped us with all our adoptions evacuated his house. There is an ominous cloud over Yankton. The Corp doesn’t know exactly what the Missiouri River is going to do. We now sit and wait for this tremendous amount of water from Montana.
Have you experienced the feeling of ominous?
If you were an action what would you be _____________. Why?
What is the most important thing to you right now?

Ominous? Yes, the weather or certain people I know make me sense emending bad happenings.
If I was an action, I’d be kinetic energy of some kind.
My most important thing right now rather than my relationship with the Lord is my health, getting and keeping as healthy as I can be.
Hurricane Andrew
Be safe in the ominous situation.
I pray you and your family will be OK. Weather situation is so uncertain these days, and ominous is a good description of how we may feel.
The most important thing to me right now is to visit my family in Austin to be there for my grandson’s graduation ceremony. I’ve just finished my blog abouit it as I’m leaving Fri. afternoon.
~~Blessings ‘m Cheers
Praying that you all will be safe…
I often feel a sense of emergency…like this country’s economy is a sinking ship. But if I were an action, I have to say that it would be daring. Daring to turn the tide.
@firetyger – thanks. We are safe here. Itaks the people near the river that may flood
Even though my local area experienced flooding, I never quite experienced flooding as personally before as when I was in China. We were on an island and there was record flooding occuring at the same time. We watched the areas all around the apartments flood, consuming trees, buildings, everything. We were evacuated, but that was very ominous for me, just watching the flooding rise in the swift river close-by and outside the window looking down…I thought we might be trapped there.
I would have loved to see what you would have said to those two guys…blessings to ya!!
