Dirty Look
We were driving on a back road last night. We hadn’t been there for awhile and just wanted to see something different. A lady was walking along the road and gave us that, “if looks could kill” look or what I call a “dirty look”. It happened to me at Wallmart last week. A lady was walking in front of my vehicle and she gave me that glaring, hateful look. (Could of been because I allowed my van to roll instead of coming to a complete stop.). When I think about it I can’t remember a guy ever giving me those killer looks. I only see them coming from females. (I can be corrected if you think I’m wrong on this assumption.)
Do you give glaring looks to people? Are you doing it right now? -lol

To impugn a person, is to hurt them.Flood Update: I went to a Yankton Flood meeting. It looks like many houses are going to be flooded out. Not only from the river but also from ground water. Apparently the water table is rising. Many people are donating furniture to our furniture bank. It’s full now. So we’re going to put donated furniture in another building. I’m sure after the water draws back people will need furniture.

I don’t think I do.
“Dirty looks” are sometimes the prelude to running off at the mouth. Like an arguement perhaps. I’m trying not to glare at the moment because any slight movement makes my headache worse.
Maybe your not reading these ladies correctly and what their doing is flirting with you, man!
I hope I don’t give that impression, maybe they are near sighted or maybe their feet are hurting or just maybe there is just something about you that provokes this LOL just kidding!

Glaring looks … Looks like ‘HEY! You better watch it’!! YES…most probably to certain ethnic drivers out here in California. Some people just think THEY own the road. (I don’t think so…..) and now for my popular color: RED … it’s my fav. Have a pleasant day and may you be spared GLARING LOOKS!

I give dirty looks to the people who feel it’s okay to double the speed limit when driving by my house. I also scowl at cars with loud exhaust.
My friends and I call it the “stank eye.” We usually get it from just females too, old and young.
Sometimes. I think we all do whether we mean to or not.
Interesting point. I know I give people dirty looks, if they cut me off while driving or something or say something mean about one of my kids. Which almost never happens but I’d probably give a dirty look for that. Also if I’m mad at Steven I give him dirty looks. haha. And he gives them to me also. But in general, I think I’ve seen way more women do it than men.

Ha. I think only females give those looks.
and I’ve seen little girls who already have “the look” down. 
This is, also, reminds me of the way female children can say, “Oh Mother!” They say it like no one else can.

Only seen females do that kind of thing. I think it’s because most guys can just accept the truth or are more laid back than most ladies. I tend to give dirty looks, particularly if I feel vulnerable towards a person or situation. I try to act tougher than I am, like animals that bloat to twice their size when threatened.

I do give dirty looks, but for no reason at all to see how people react, I generally follow it up with a grin, people act weirdly when they don’t know what to think.

@xsimplepleasuresx - You sound like another lady I know. She loves messing with people. She was helping me take kids to camp and we stopped at a Dairy Queen. She was at the counter and said I’d like the Chicken Strips. “I’m sorry but we’re out of chicken strips”, the girl said from behind the counter. Allison, with a very serious look on her face after a few seconds said, “Well, ok then I’ll go ahead and take the chicken strips”. The poor girl behind the counter had no idea what to do.
