Facebook
I had a family reunion this past Sunday. It was great. I saw a lot of family that I hadn’t seen in a long time. What made it better this year was facebook. I don’t directly post on facebook and I rarely comment on facebook but I have my other sites connected to facebook. Well several of my distant family members apparently read my facebook. Those that normally wouldn’t go beyond a “hi” came up to me and started a conversation by what they read on my facebook site. It was like the walls fell down.
Do you find the social networks help you in everyday life?Word of the Day: Raffish
I tolerate raffish people, but I prefer to be around those that are respectful.

It’s an awesome display of nature. The sound of the water release at Gavin’s Point dam is loud. The river looks so angry. Niagara Falls falls at 110,000; Gavins Point – 150,000.

FaceBook was so damn boring to me until I befriended my favorite Starseed friend; then it got interesting. <3 <3 <3
@boilingicicle - That’s so true – it’s who you know on it that makes it interesting.
@Randy7777 - yeah; that’s so cool though that your posts helped them interact with you better… mine… i don’t know. i’m a weirdo. LOL
I like it to do networking, as well as to flood my friends’ walls with music they’d probably never hear otherwise.
I don’t see facebook helping me connect in anyway even though I do post there. I even occationally write on peoples walls. Usually not much of a response back either.
@prettynpink628 - LOL -
@NightlyDreams - Thanks
yeaup, found a way to connect with my distant relatives.
@BenelliMan - Thanks
I bet no one’s fishing there! I have lots of childhood memories of fishing at Gavin’s Point Dam.
I enjoy facebook. I keep up with lots of friends from high school and some family members solely through facebook.
I like your word of the day and the example sentence.
Facebook or any other social networking site doesn’t really help me in my day-to-day life. I wish that it could, like blogging could get me further in life, but truthfully, it’s just all online, maybe for nothing other than my own enjoyment–which is enough for me, but I wish something I enjoy so much could produce more for me. If anything, Facebook is just pathetic. It just reminds me of people I’d long since stopped talking to and lives, relationships, and situations that I honestly don’t need to know about. It can be useful to share pictures, etc, but it’s mostly not for me. Speaking of Niagara Falls, I was just there last weekend. The water does look fierce.
@makesenseofmadness – Really? Niagra Falls last week. That must of been great
@bittersweetreflections – thanks. I like to use new words
@bethro78 – It’s a great way to keep up with people
@yourkbear – there is some fishing by the White Crain area
I quite like face book because i can see what my friends are up too and for me is a very useful point of contact.
I love Facebook because it helps keep me connected to my family and friends who are now spread out all over the world. But I keep my privacy restrictions set fairly high.
@GeneralRapunzel – nothing like keeping connected
