Giving

We got an new opportunity to give out more food and I’ve been setting that up. We’re picking up food from Wal Mart and distributing it to people that need it. I’m excited about it because people here in Yankton need as much help as possible. A lady was telling me that she just couldn’t make the money stretch because things have gone up so much. We also run a furniture bank that we give out all kinds of furniture and we are packed out. It seems like in this economy people are giving a lot more.Do you tend to give out more when things get tight?
What do you think the chinese letters say? (Has to do with the subject I wrote about)
Answer: Never Give Up
Family: Randy
Psalms 25:17-21
Word of the Day: slaphappy
My son has been slaphappy lately, hopefully he doesn’t do anything stupid.
My topic tomorrow is, “Child Like Faith”Family Feud Question: What is a crazy thing to buy?

Yes! It’s funny that. We seem to be emptying our house slowly as we help out.
Seeing people suffer bites. Helping them when their suffering gets worse is only natural. I like it. =]
When I was still at school, whenever I see someone homeless (and non-threatening), I would go to my usual sandwich shop, buy an extra sandwich and give it to them. I’ve done it about 3-4 times to all different people.
That third symbol says love, right?
@FrenzElectric - Feels good to give.
@soullightsky - It doesn’t.
@AftonJoanne - So true
@laytexduckie - That’s a really cool thing to do.
@Randy7777 - It feels a bit like returning to the centre.
I don’t know if I give more when times are hard or not. I think I give about the same all the time. Beats me.
The more you give the more you get.
No, I actually tend to give more when I’m able to do so. That might sound a bit cold, but I’m disabled, and becoming unemployed again due to my disability is always a danger I have to keep in mind. (It happened again just last week.)
@Randy7777 - Oh. Fail. Then I have no idea what any of them say. Lol.
It sure looks very similar to the love symbol though… [link] But now that I’m looking at them both, I can see the differences. Darn. Lol.
Yes we work more with sharing and having more potlucks in the large apt complex where we live when it gets tight so everyone can eat.
chuckling at those seat savers.
When I drink to much I get slaphappy.
Family fued-A crazy thing to buy is a pair of toe socks,
@soullightsky - Never Give Up is the answer
@everlastte - Sure is
@Grannys_Place - Toe Socks – my daughters get those – I think it’s funny.
@TheSchizoidMan - Sorry about the unemployement. I do wish you the best.
@nattata - True
@C_L_O_G - Thanks
May God bless you, Randy, in what you’re doing for others. It’s not easy to do when my own financial situation is affected, but I try to do what I can. However, if I’m in a position to able to give/do more, then I do. I believe in the concept of to whom much is given, much is required. I try to periodically weed out from my closet clothes that I’m sure I won’t need or wear anymore to give to charitable organizations. Our church collects food and other items to go to a local organization, N.E.E.D. which helps those in emergency situations. Food also can be donated to Food Bankd. There are many ways to help others if one is willing to do that. ~~Blessings, Prayers ‘n Cheers
