  • Innocent

I've been thinking a lot about the events of this past week.  As Americans we have a system of innocent until proven guilty.  Yet America act as though they believe guilty until proven innocent.  After the jury brought back an innocent verdict on Casey I seen a lot of people picking up rocks. America declared her guilty in public opinion.  If the prosecution hadn't tried to taint the jury pool in the beginning it's very possible that this case wouldn't of had nation wide attention. America wouldn't have given it much attention.

Do you believe in innocent until proven guilty?

    Family: Alicia
    Word of the Day: futilitarian
I was disappointed by the futilitarian response of Americans this past week.

  • New Taxes

I need someone to explain this to me: The Obama administration has admitted that the stimulus has failed. 185,000 for each government job created. So ... The government gave millions of dollars to wealthy people with nothing in return. It actually hurt the poor by increasing the dollar amount of cheap cars.  Now this administration wants to raise taxes on those that make 100,000 or more. That means a lot of small businesses. Why didn't Obama just keep the government's money in the first place or give it to the poor?

Do you support a tax increase?

    Who remembers bucket seats?

  • Casey Anthony

Casey Anthony found not guilty.  What are your thoughts?

  • Faith

When I tackle controversial topics here on xanga there are people that just hate faith. Faith is evidence of things not yet seen.  They want to prove thier point by showing things seen.  It confounds the wisdom of this world and drives the unbelieving crazy.  I will hold to my faith in Jesus Christ with everything I have.

What does your faith look like?

Family Fued Question:  Name a type of pet.

  • Gadgets

I have a friend that has a pen that video tapes people.  He uses it when he's in controversial situations.  There are tie and sunglasses cams.  A camera could be put almost anywhere.

What kind of gadget would you like to have and use?

Word of the Day - Intrepid

  • Blow your horn

I know most of you do not like to blow your own horn, but I give you permission.

    What are you good at?

  • Observing People

We went to Ricky's football game last night.  They played Sioux Falls at Gayville.  Besides watching the game I was observing two different types of people.  In front of me was a grandfather, his daughter and little baby.  The grandfather was interacting with his granddaughter throughout the entire game.  For me it was better than watching a movie. My wife did nudge me once when the grandfather changed a diaper. "See he changes diapers." -lol
The other people were behind us. They were a young couple in love.  I couldn't hear a word they were saying but their language was loud and clear.  It was love behind us and love it front of us.

    Do you observe people?

Someone did ask if it was a Naval Air Station - Answer was no. -But close.

  • Patriotic

When I read our nation's early history I see what a miracle it was that this country even survived it's infancy.  A powerful nation was set on destroying the USA. This nation failed.  I may not always like what happens politically but I love the system we have.  The balances of power makes us great.  The flag does stand for freedom.  I was so proud to serve this nation in the Navy under the Commander and Chief, President Reagan.

What does this country mean to you?

Word of the day: Arachnoleptic Fit @joyouswind
I think it would be funny to see a arachnolepitc fit.

Flood Update:  There are many homes that have been flooded in this area.  We have a cabin rented in a few weeks.  Earlier in the week P & D reported that the road to White Crain will flood.  We drove out there last night and the water was really close. We asked the Park Ranger and she assured us it wouldn't flood.

  • Economy

Is the economy better or worse since President Obama has become president?

    Psalms 24:7

    Word of the day: abrogate
It bothers me that an entire state can vote on legislation and one person can abrogate it.
