Story
I love good stories. I don’t mind it when people around me make drama. It adds spice to life. One of my favorite Biblical stories is creation. It’s so full of love. A good story add a little mystery. Stay tuned for the next chapter. It’s gonna be good.
What is your favorite story?
Word of the Day: ciruitous

cinderella.
My favorite story changes depending on my mood.
I have a lot of favorite stories, but I really love Native American tales. Creation stories are always great and often teach good lessons.
I like true life stories that inspire and touch the heart like Corrie Ten Boom’s The Hiding Place
my grandson is going to know bible stories from me for sure. I think everyone needs to be aware of them.
The greatest story ever told -lol
My favorite story from the Bible is Nehemiah. A guy who knew what God wanted him to do and just went for it full throttle.
My favorite is the Exodus story with Moses. (: Him growing up and going back to deliver the Hebrews and all that. <3
@bethro78 - & happily ever after
@LoBornlytesThoughtPalace - I hear you on that one.
@Shining_Garnet - We adopted a Native America. Kalli is 6 now. Kalli’s biological mother told me a few things about Native Culture.
@ThexGodfather - Corrie Ten Boom – great story
@Babyboomerjill - So True
@LetterByLesson - He did and had a lot of opposition.
@soullightsky - That was amazing. It was sad when Moses couldn’t go into the promise land before he left earth.
@Randy7777 - Yeah it was. ): But yes, that story is so so so amazing!
Little Red Riding Hood
I have learned that, in Judaism, stories were and are the rabbinical method for teaching truth. This is also a part of middle eastern culture. Jesus was recognized as a rabbi and told stories we call parables. It’s hard to choose a favorite story. I read a lot of “fairy” and folk tales as a child. In terms of storytelling, which I do every year in the children’s area at CelticFest, MS in Sept., one of my favorite folk tales is “Stone Soup” Another favorite is one I simply call “Salt.” Biblically, I think a favorite story is the one Jesus told about the lost sheep. ~~Blessings ‘n Cheers
@Randy7777 - YES!
@The_Eyes_Of_A_Painter - Did you get Hood Winked? -lol
I don’t know if I name a favorite but the story of the prodigal son always struck a cord with me; from other then the Bible there is the Chinese folklore of Cowcatcher and Dream Weaver a tale of unrelenting love.
My word of the day is andar, as in le gusta andar? or you like to walk?
The lake House. I love the story of the lake house.
Laughing about the lady who did all the talking. I know people like that too! Sometimes I duck around a corner so they don’t see me.
@mcbery - Here’s how the conversation went: me - ”I need to talk to you.” -her – “I don’t have any time to talk” me – “It will only take a few minutes.” her – ok – Then she begins to talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk – I barely was able to let her know what I needed to. The lady talked for 15 minutes. I was never so happy to hear my cell phone ring -lol
@Grannys_Place - lake house?
@ElevenStones - I find comfort in the prodigal son story – gives me hope. I like that word. I think I’ll use it today as my word of the day.
@DonnaLou - We use to call our information cards – “99″ cards.
