Global Warming
I watched the movie, “We Bought a Zoo” and it was really good. I went to the web site and read a little more about this true story. Benjamin Mee said that global warming is keeping people away from his zoo and he may loose it because of low attendance. I have a few questions:
1.Do you believe man can hurt this earth (Global Warming)?
2.Do you believe God is changing the weather (Judgment)?
3.Do you believe the earth just goes through different patterns and all the extreme weather is normal?
Comments (15)
If you surf long enough off the coast of Southern California, you’ll get infected with something or other. But I don’t think man can affect the weather.
And who knows the mind of God?
And what extremes of weather? Winter is cold. Summer is hot. Hurricanes and tornadoes come during their appointed seasons.
1. Yes
2. No.
3. Mixture. Prehistorical weather cycles are known to exist and were obviously natural, since man did not have the power to influence the weather back then. Today he does, and is.
#3. This ol’ world will last as long as The Lord wants it to last.
@homealiven45 - Agreed
@TheSchizoidMan - Thanks
@Lucy_or_Ethel - Exactly
I have to go with #3. I think it’s entirely up to God to decide how long eath will exist
1) yes
2) no
3) I believe nothing happens without God allowing it.
I think the worst thing that happened to the earth is us but if we disappeared tomorrow God would heal the earth.
God’s elect will live forever with Him on the New Earth – when God chooses.
1) Yes, and it does on a regular basis, though I never researched global warming to make an informed opinion
2) I don’t believe in any gods, so this question doesn’t really apply to me.
3) I think all things change with time, and humanity hasn’t been around long enough to make any informed decisions about he life cycle of a planet.
1. Yes. Have you heard about acid rain?
2. No, I think G-d doesn’t do that kind of business any more, you know, since he made a covenant with Noah that he wouldn’t.
3. Natural patterns are aggrevated by human irresponsibility.
@dingdongdingbat - Thanks
@stephensmustang - Agreed
@hevcoh - Interesting – thanks
