House Wife
Ann Romney was critizied for being a house wife this past week by a CNN reporter. I’m proud to say that my wife has been able to be a stay at home mom for all my children. I believe my children are more secure and emotionally healthy. I salute all stay at home moms.
What do you do (job wise)? Do you like it?

I’m a stay at home mom and I do love it!
I’m a stay at home mom and grandma. We had to do without a lot of things, but it was worth it.
I hope the Romney’s kick butt next November. This sort of craven meanness on the part of Democrats must be answered at the ballet box.
That reporter was way off base…I stayed home with our kids and would not have been happy doing it any other way!
I’m an IT professional, mostly desktop support but also some systems administration as well. I like the technology itself, but dealing with other people is a hassle.
We were both very fortunate.
@Megabyyte - You are my hero
@ata_grandma - So true – Kids want parents time not “stuff”
@sometimestheycomebackanyway - I’m with you on that.
@dingdongdingbat - Yes, she was.
@TheSchizoidMan - It must be hard to keep up with the technology?
@Randy7777 - It can be, but probably not as much as you might think. (Although originally, in fact, thinking that this would be a problem was what made me not want to go into the industry in the first place.) When you’re using it all the time, plus subscribing to a variety of industry newsletters and so forth, being aware of everything isn’t too hard.
@Randy7777 - Ha! Ha! I’m a snob like the Romney’s! I said “ballet” instead of “ballot”!
I have two jobs, one is a furniture/appliance/electronics deliveryman. The other is a tax preparer/small business consultant. I enjoy one of them more than the other.
AMEN
@xsimplepleasuresx - I like doing accounting also.
