I imagine they would say a lot of things, but be insincere when saying them… In both instances.
We are all here today to pay tribute to a man that insulted us all but we loved him for it. He held no punches and told the truth and allowed us to see our lies as mere truth. Now let us now burn his body and feed his ashes to the pigs.
I don’t really think of death all too often. I’d hope that people would say that I treated others with respect and that the love of God shined through my life.
At a ceremony, I would thank my supporters, such as my family and friends. I talk a lot, so I’d probably end up rambling about ‘when I was little I..’
&at my funeral, I hope someone would mention my near constant smile and passion to make people laugh. I hope they’d remember all the fun and hilarious times we shared and not mourn, but rejoice for the life I got the chance to live.
Yes, I think about death &I always end up crying to myself. I’m a very emotional.

A teacher of 20 or so years, who substituted for me when I was teaching in Los Angeles wrote my epitaph. He said that of all the students he’d ever seen in his many years with the District that mine loved each other and cared for each other more than any he’d ever seen.
I responded, “They are that way because I train them to be that way.”

@The_Eyes_Of_A_Painter - You know a few years ago I had an old time friend call me while he was at the bar. He said, “Hey you should come down here.” I laughed a little and said, “I’m a Children’s Pastor.” I’m glad he chuckled and understood.

If I were honoring someone I would say they were kind and caring, working for the good of all.
At my funeral I would like someone to say she did what she was supposed to do and went on to where she was supposed to go.

I would vote for Obama because I do not like what the others are wanting to do with medicare and sociak security.

They would say she worked hard to succeed……..but never mind. lol. Nah think there would be a lot of jokes in my honour and it would be a laugh fest thinking about all the silly things I did.
