  • Nice?

There have been times I have not said something to a person because of not wanting a  conflict.  At times it’s probally good that I took the “nice” route but there are times it’s not.

Do you tend to be nice or do you speak your mind in every situation?

    Psalms 30:4
    Word of the Day:somnolence
I have no somnolence today since I got a really good nights sleep?  How about you?

Question:  What is an emotion that you’ve had a lot of lately?

  • I tend to be nice. But sometimes, and more lately than ever before, I actually speak my mind.

  • Generally I try to be nice and the peacemaker in every situation, but there is a situation going on that I have to speak my true thoughts about. There is no grey zone in all of this. So please pray for me that I may have the courage to do what is right.

  • Most of the time, I tend to be nice. And when times really call for it, I just fire away.

  • Being political is the best way to get along with both parties on the aisle

  • I try to do both but speaking my mind will usually win out.

  • I tend to keep my thoughts to myself, so I guess that qualifies as being “nice”?

  • I only speak my mind on Xanga.

  • I like to be nice so I often keep things to myself.

  • I don’t always speak my mind.

  • i try to do both. i say what i’m thinking in a nice way (and a lot of what i say ends up having sort of a disclaimer on it, kind of me saying “i hope this doesn’t offend you, i don’t want anyone to take this the wrong way, etc.”)

  • I try to speak my mind while being nice. People listen more that way.

  • I think it depends on the situation. Sometimes, it is just not necessary or helpful to say whatever is on ones mind. However, there are times when ones boundaries are being invaded, it may be necessary to speak up and confront. However, that should be done with kindness, not angrily or rudely. I pray for wisdom to know when to speak out and when to keep silent. There are books on the subject. Examples are Boundaries (which I used to have in my bookcase) and Caring Enough to Confront.  ~~Blessings, Prayers ‘n Cheers
