  • Excitement

One of the reasons I love Xanga is it plays out like a mystery movie.  I love asking questions here because of all the different responses you give.  Many of you have some very interesting summer plans. I look forward to seeing the picutres and reading the blogs.

What are some upcoming blogs you are going to be writing about?  ...want to write about?

    Word of the Day -Ruminate
When I study the Bible I ruminate the verses over and over.

  • Summer Plans

The tempature has finally gotten above 70 degrees.  It caused me to think about summer plans.  Early June I'm taking 3 Five year olds across the state for Adventure Camp. Three days and Two nights.  Late June I'm taking several kids across state for Kid's Camp.  In July some time we're going on vacation.  Not sure where yet - Possibly Colorado.

    What are your summer plans?

  • Happy Mother's Day

My Mom is coming over for lunch today.  I've gotten a lot closer to her within the past few years.  I see her at least once a week.  She is very caring and likes to give gifts.

What is great about your Mom?

We're headed to Hu Hot today to celebrate Mother's Day.
What are you doing special for Mother's Day?

  • WWYD?

What Would You Do?  I watched this show last night and I didn't know what to think of it, so I want to ask you WWYD?
    Scenario:
A manager is interviewing a person for a job at the restaurant.  The interview is going good and the person looks like he's getting the job.  The manager then says, "We have a uniform code here and it doesn't include your head dress. You can work here but you have to follow our dress code.

Does a restaurant have the right to enforce their own dress code?
    or
Is it discrimination to have your employees not show their religious affiliation while on duty?

  • Obama

Way to go Mr. President!                                                                         I've been critcal on some of the things our President has done, so I want to be equally supportive on the things I see as good.  I'm happy of how he handled the Usama situation.  It's good seeing President Obama at the different ceremonies right now. Some have said it's like spiking the ball after a touch down but I don't see it that way.  We need to broadcast justice.  I'm also happy that the Obama administration has chosen not to show the pictures of Usama.  We don't need to see that.

What are some things you see as good about President Obama?

  • Who are You?

I was reading an xangan blog the other day and the writer talked about how hard it was to self promote himself since he was an author.  But .... There are people that always advertise themselves.  They have to be in the lime light.

Are you a type of person that when you walk into a room you want everyone to notice you? (Life of the Party)
    or
Are you a type of person that when you walk into a room you don't mind just blending in?

Word of the Day - ruminate
It takes me several hours to ruminate information.

Family Feud Question:  How long does it take a woman to get ready in the morning?

  • Job- Favorite

My favorite day to work is Friday.  On Fridays I process the children's attendance from Wednesday's Whiz Kids/Heir Force.  Over the last month we've had over 30 brand new children.  Every child has a picture card.  The favorite thing about my job is making the attendance picture cards and attendance.

What do you do at your job?
What is the favorite part of your job?

Word of the Day - Verbose
I am rarely a verbose conversationalist.

  • Flooding in Illinois/Missiouri

A Judge allowed the Corps to blow up a levee.  This caused 200 Missouri people to be affected by the flood and 130,000 acres of Missouri farmland, that was man made in order to save 2800 Illinois people from the affects of a flood.  FLOOD

    Is this right?

Is the government now responsible for the 90 flooded homes and the livelihood of these people?

  • Cartoons

When I was a boy I loved getting up on Saturday mornings and watch cartoons.  I teach 40-50 kids on Wednesday night.  I've shown them cartoons and the kids do not like them.  I'm shocked.

Leg Horn Fog Horn is my favorite which makes the "Leg Horn Geico commerical my favorite commercial.

What's your favorite cartoon character?  Does your kids watch cartoons?

  • Bin Laden's Death

Is it right to celebrate his death?  or is it celebrating justice?
