I try hard to "reboot" on Sundays. Nothing is the same. I attempt to "shut down" all normal schedule. Today won't be a full day of refreshing. We have to go get Kim's Dad, John. He's in a nursing home 3 and 1/2 hours from here. We have to have him back tomorrow morning at 10:30 am for a doctors appointment and then we take him to a nursery home here in Yankton.
Do you do anything special on Sundays to relax and refresh for the week?

Foghorn has a lot advice:Foghorn Leghorn Rant
"Boy, pay attention to me when I'm talking to you"
"Speak up Boy""
"Alright sister, let's have it"
"Look sister, is any of this filtering through your nogen?"
"That dog is like taxes, he just doesn't know when to stop"
"What's the big idea?"
"Pay attention son, this is for your own good."
"Look at me when I'm talking to you boy."
"What kept you son?"
"I tell you son, you're way off son" "Pay attention son"
"Look at me son when I'm talking to you, you're not looking at me son."
and the best: "That dog is a good GI - gibbering idiot"
"That dog is as busy as a centipede at a tool counting contest"OK - I feel much better.

Blame?
I was working at a Federal Prison when the government shut down several years ago in the Clinton Administration. We didn't get paid and all leave was canceled. The problem was that even though we didn't get paid, the lenders expected their money. It wasn't a good situation. It looks like the government may shut down again. It's puzzling why the democrats couldn't get a budget past when they were in the majority. Right now both sides are playing the blame game and that doesn't help. I'm personally so sick of this political maneuvering.
If the government shuts down who would you blame?

Understand?
I think everyone wants to be understood. Years ago my wife and I worked with mentally disabled/phsically disabled. We held camps for them. One of the things that they enjoyed so much was being understood. I have a friend who understands me. I've gone through circumstances misunderstood because I failed to communicate properly.
Is it important to you to be understood?
How far do you go to accomplish that?Family Feud Question: What is the most popular American city
Word of the Day - Savant
A person who is savant will listen and understand those around him.
Psalms 19:2 -
Influence
Whether you want to or not you will influence someone, either postitve or negative. I have fear in my life when it comes to children. I know how influential they are. Adults can have a life time affect on a child.
Who do you influence? How?
Cody & Alicia. We're in the middle of children services. Cody,
being two can't sit still. Grandmother was in the back and Mom
was the the front. Cody was with Grandmother, until a quiet time
in the service. He ran up the aisle yelling, mama. Of course all
eyes went to him.
Word of the Day - abrogate

Inappropriate
I love studying the english language. Thus the reason for the word of the day. I personnaly don't like any curse words. It just doesn't sound good to me. When someone swears in front of me I casually may say, "whoops". Most will smile and say sorry.
I enjoy learning about people. I want to get to know the "real person". I don't want to have my eyes upon the surface of a person. True beauty comes from within.
I usually don't comment on xanga sites that have either of these two. What do you find inappropriate? Do you do anything about it?

Passion?
Two pictures of when I was in Nigeria. Second one is my daughter
with a Nigerian baby.
My passion is to help children around the world. I was so moved when I saw all the children in Nigeria. We were told not to give the street children anything. One of the guys with us didn't listen and he bought them some bannans. It almost turned into a riot. Children came out of nowhere trying to take those bananas. We learned a very value lesson. The Nigerian were so shocked my daughter was with me. Children are very rarely around adults. What is your passion in life?

2012 - The end?
There is talk that the end is going to happen in 2012. I've even had kids come up to me and ask me if everything was going to end in 2012. Apparently some parents are telling their kids this.

What do you think? Is the world going to end in 2012?
or
What do you think the next major world event will be?
or
What is the fate of this world?Family Feud question: Name one item from a ladies purse.
I picked up our speaker for Kid's Krusade. Noah got such a kick out of
Jay. He is a ventriloquist. He had a bigger bag and he told Noah his son
was in the bag. Of course his son spoke from inside the bag. Noah was
so impressed.
